Hawlucha is a dual-type Fighting/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation 6. It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.
Hawlucha is a bipedal bird-like Pokémon with colourful plumage. It has a green mask-like marking across its face, an orange blaze running from its forehead to the back of its neck, an orange ring around each eye, and a small, red patch at the tip of its beak. On the back of its head are two rectangular, tassel-like feathers. Its red, cape-like wings have green undersides and are connected to its feathery tail.
Hawlucha makes up for its small body with its proficiency in fighting, which allows it to keep up with bigger fighters such as Machamp and Hariyama. It leaps around to stay in its opponent’s blind spots and controls its position in the air by using its wings. A favoured tactic is to strike from above, because it is a difficult manoeuvre to defend against. However, Hawlucha has a tendency to show off in the heat of battle; opponents can exploit its vanity to gain the upper hand. Flying Press is its signature move.
Ingredients
115g Linguine
1 Lime (zested and juiced)
1 Avocado (stone removed, peeled and chopped)
2 Tomatoes (chopped)
Handful Fresh Coriander (chopped)
1 Red Onion (finely chopped)
1 Red Chilli (deseeded and finely chopped, optional)
I wanted to use reds and greens through this dish. I’ve gone with guacamole ingredients run through a pasta to just hint at the Mexican theme running through Hawlucha’s appearance.
This recipe is vegetarian, however when cooking, I also added some turkey ham to the dish to use up. You could also add chicken or other cooked poultry to help bulk it up.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Cook the linguine in a saucepan of boiling water for 20 minutes until cooked.Step 2
Meanwhile, put the lime juice and zest in a medium bowl with the avocado, tomatoes, coriander, onion and chilli, if using, and mix well.Step 3
Add the guacamole ingredients to a saucepan and heat gently for 10 minutes. Add some pasta water to help create a sauce.Step 4
Serve the pasta with the sauce in bowls. Garnish with extra coriander if desired.
