Block World Smørrebrød

Minecraft is a sandbox video game developed by Mojang. It is the best-selling video game of all time, with 200 million copies sold and 126 million monthly active users as of 2020.

In Minecraft, players explore a blocky, procedurally-generated 3D world with infinite terrain, and may discover and extract raw materials, craft tools and items, and build structures or earthworks. Depending on game mode, players can fight computer-controlled “mobs”, as well as cooperate with or compete against other players in the same world. Game modes include a survival mode, in which players must acquire resources to build the world and maintain health, and a creative mode, where players have unlimited resources. Players can modify the game to create new gameplay mechanics, items, and assets.

Ingredients

12 Beef Meatballs
0.5 Cucumber
6 Cheese Cubes (optional)
4 Beetroots (cooked)
2 tbsp Mayonnaise
1 tbsp Sour Cream
6 Rye Crisp Bread Thins

Feel free to top your smørrebrød with different additions. You could try cheese, cucumber, hard-boiled egg, beef meatballs, chicken, apple, or other ingredients you could cut into cubes!

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Mash up the cooked beets in a bowl and add the mayonnaise and sour cream. Mix until you have a thick and chunky paste.
Step 2
Bake the meatballs in a pre-heated oven for 20-25 mins (follow pack instructions). Prepare the cucumber by chopping into 2cm cubes.
Step 3
Once cooked, wait for the meatballs to cool before carving them into cubes a similar size to the cheese and cucumber. Dice the meatball shavings and mix into the beetroot salad.
Step 4
Assemble the smørrebrød by spreading the beetroot salad across the rye crisp bread slices. Top with your meatball, cheese and cucumber cubes and serve.
