Syrup Splashed Sausage Skillet
As Buddy the Elf enjoys, I've coated this dish in maple syrup to keep it sweet to taste!
- 1 tsp Oil
- 160 g Smoked Pork Sausage
- 400 g Mushrooms
- 1 Green Bell Pepper
- 1 Onion
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 2 portions of Rice
Slice your sausage, mushrooms, bell pepper and onion. Boil your rice in salted water until cooked.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sausage, cook and stir for 5 mins until lightly browned.
Add the vegetables, cook and stir for an extra 5 minutes until the vegetables are crisp and tender.
Stir in the syrup and add pepper to taste. Heat through then serve with the rice.
